As followers of Jesus, we are called to continually grow and mature in our faith. This growth should lead us to look more like Christ each day—reflecting Him in our words, actions, and attitudes so that others are drawn to Him. We grow by studying His Word, reflecting on it daily, and living it out in our lives.
We also grow together as a church family—gathering regularly for worship, Bible study, and fellowship. There are many opportunities here to learn, teach, encourage, and be encouraged.

In addition to our regular worship services and Bible studies, we host many gatherings and events where we laugh together, pray together, and support each other through every stage of life. From men’s and women’s ministries to groups for all ages, there’s a place here for you. Come belong. Be family.

God has given each of us unique gifts and talents to use for His glory and for the good of others. Jesus gave us the perfect example of humble service, and we follow His lead by serving within our church family and reaching out to our community.

Ways To Connect at the Hydro Church of Christ

  • Pathfinders is a ministry dedicated to showing Christ’s love to those in need. Through this ministry, we share helpful and uplifting messages that remind people they are seen, valued, and cared for. Our goal is simple—to let them know they are deeply loved and never forgotten. 

  • Vacation Bible School We love Vacation Bible School—because we love teaching children about the Lord! Each year, VBS is filled with exciting activities, joyful singing, engaging Bible lessons, and of course, plenty of snacks and a meal to enjoy together. VBS typically kicks off on the first Wednesday in May and is one of the highlights of our summer. It’s a time of learning, laughter, and planting seeds of faith in young hearts.

  • Lads to Leaders Lads to Leaders is a weekend conference held each May in Norman, where hundreds of children and teens come together to showcase their spiritual growth and leadership skills. Participants engage in areas such as song leading, speech, Bible Bowl, art, debate, and many others. Some events focus on year-round achievements, while others are competitive, all with the same goal—to help young people grow in their faith and prepare for a lifetime of service to Christ and His Kingdom.

  • Men’s Breakfast held once a month, is a great time for our men to gather together for a meal and bible study. This is a great time for building relationships with one another as we strive to grow together. 

  • Excel Still More Bible Workshop The Excel Still More Bible Workshop is a powerful annual event held in Oklahoma City at the OKANA Resort, where hundreds of men, women, and children come together for an uplifting week of in-depth study in a specific book of the Bible. This workshop is designed with your spiritual growth in mind—helping you deepen your understanding of God’s Word and strengthen your walk with Him. 2026 Dates: January 21–24

  • KFC Kids For Christ meets every Wednesday night at 6:30. During this time, we focus on activities related to our Lads to Leaders program while diving into exciting and meaningful lessons from the Bible. Topics include creation, the flood, the life of Jesus, the prophets, the apostles, and much more. It’s a time filled with both learning and fun—helping children grow in their knowledge of God’s Word and in a deeper love and understanding of the Lord.

  • Areawide @ The Maze is an exciting annual event held on the last Sunday in September at Pbar Farms, just outside of Hydro. With around 500 people in attendance each year, we enjoy a powerful evening of worship as we invite teens from all over Oklahoma to join us for a night of praise and fun. After worship, everyone is treated to a delicious meal, followed by activities like exploring the cornfield maze, visiting the petting zoo, and much more. This event is always an uplifting highlight of the year and provides a wonderful opportunity for our entire congregation to get involved, serve, and work together.

  • Eichelberger Bonfire Held annually around the beginning of the year, the Eichelberger Bonfire is a cherished time when our congregation comes together for fellowship around a cozy bonfire. Enjoy roasting weenies, fishing, and plenty of fun activities for all ages. It’s always a wonderful opportunity to connect, relax, and create lasting memories together.

  • Movie Nights & Games Each year, we set aside special evenings to come together for fun and fellowship. We enjoy watching movies outdoors, popping popcorn, playing games, and simply having a great time with one another. It’s the perfect way to relax, laugh, and build community!
